Ecoalf was born in 2009, with the vision to stop using natural resources in a careless way to ensure those of the next generation. Since then, Ecoalf&rsquo;s mission has been to make a new generation of recycled products with the same quality and design as the best non-recycled.
During the past 15 years, through innovation and R&amp;D, Ecoalf has developed more than 600 innovative recycled fabrics, recycling over 350 million plastic bottles, tonnes of discarded fishing nets, used tires, postindustrial cotton and wool&hellip; saving over 54 billion liters of water, creating a positive impact and restoring +50,000 m&sup2; of land with regenerative cotton, reducing 12,500 tonnes of CO₂; committed to NetZero Emissions by 2030. Heading toward circularity, approximately 70% of its collections are monomaterial to prevent textile waste.
In 2015, through the Ecoalf Foundation, Ecoalf started &ldquo;Upcycling the Oceans&rdquo;. Born off the coast of Spain, it is a worldwide adventure that is helping to remove marine debris from the bottom of the ocean and put it back into the system thanks to the collective effort of more than 4,300 fishermen who have recovered more than 1,900 tonnes of waste. A revolutionary project that has expanded to Thailand, Greece, Italy, France, Egypt&hellip; and continues to expand throughout the Mediterranean Sea, converting ocean waste into high-quality garments.
For every &ldquo;BECAUSE THERE IS NO PLANET B&reg;&rdquo; item sold, 10% is donated to the Ecoalf Foundation to contribute to the expansion of the project. Every 1&euro; donated allows us to remove 600g of ocean waste.
Since 2018, Ecoalf has been a proud member of the B-Corp community. In 2022, we were recognized as &ldquo;Best for the World&rdquo;, positioning Ecoalf in the top 5% of the 5,000 B Corps across the globe.
